Review: MAKEUP FOREVER - Artisan Brush #206

I was recently offered the chance to review one of the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artisan Brushes and I could not help but say YES! I have not really tried any brush outside of my Sigma & ELF brushes. So having the chance to try out one of these babies had me on high. I would like to apologize for my MIA state over the last few months here. Moving has been some heck of a process and with the unbearable winter this year it has just been super tough to stay on top of posts. I assure you everything it slowly coming along.  Now onto the review ...
The brush I recieved is the #206 Small Smudger brush. It is delightfully soft made with 100% fiber it makes for an amazing one of a kind smudge brush.
It's incredibly small and precise shape makes it super easy to get right in under the lower lash line to smudge out liner / powder. That being said it works equally as well on the upped lash line for the same technique.
I am happy to say it has gone through a few washes and has not shed one single hair! The sleek wooden handle is also a super sleek touch to these brushes.
All in all I am happy to say I am super impressed with these brushes. I would really love to try out a few more. One that has definitely caught my eye is the #158 double ended sculpting brush.  Highly recommend checking out the new line of the MUFE Artisan brushes if you haven't already. I personally don't own any brushes as soft as this one!

What are your thoughts on the new line of brushes?

Lime Crime Opaque Lipsticks Review & Swatches | Airborne Unicorn & Babette

So for the past few months I have been lusting over the famous Lime Crime opaque lipsticks. Well I finally caved and purchased two! I am super impressed and love them both. Though I must say Babette is a lot different then I expected. To be honest I have heard many reviews saying the swatches on Lime Crimes website are pretty far off in some cases. Anywho, a little fyi before I get started here this post is super picture heavy!
In case you are wondering I made my own little lipstick display with the boxes the lipsticks came in yay or nay?
I must say the packaging it out of this world! Super cute and girly. Everything I want basically in a package. Oh and common purple! My all time favorite color really and truly I didn't think it could get better but, oh then it did with the wonderful holographic unicorn!
Airborne Unicorn | Here is the first one I picked up and well I just couldn't help myself I loved the names and the color is just so different I defiantly wanted it in my collection and well I could also definitely see myself wearing it! I must say my camera didn't do the color much justice it looks a bit darker in the picture then it actually is. I will have a few other pictures below which may help in depicting the color better.
So I took a picture of the swatch with and without flash ... I would say it is a gorgeous blue based purple. Lime Crime describes it as a medium purple with a neon note!
Babette | I was hesitant to purchase Babette as it looked like a super light baby-ish pink on the website but, since geradium was sold out I settled for it. I now could not be happier with my choice it is perfectly wonderful! It is a lightish pink but with a nude hint to it.. I would say its a pastel/nude pink.
The top swatch isn't the best but, the bottom one depicts the actual color very well. It was super hard settling with this color as there have no been many reviews on it! I love it tho very pretty.
These lipsticks are super opaque and creamy leaving then super moisturizing on the lips. Highly recommend them!
Gorgeous are they not?
I do for sure see more of these in my future!

Alright, so overall I am super impressed with these lipsticks they are a fantastic product. They are super opaque just as they are advertised to be and in my books the packaging gets a A++!

They are available for $16.99 on Lime Crimes Website as well as on Nail Polish Canada (Much of their stock is out mind you)..

What do you think of Lime Crime? Have you tried their products? Will you be purchasing any of their opaque lipsticks?
